In a joint venture with Ferrovial, Cabbsa is finalizing the construction of the new Club de Mar in Mallorca. The project includes offices, commercial premises, port infrastructure, and recreational areas. Alongside substantial port construction works, the result will be a benchmark marina for premium vessels in the Mediterranean.
Both projects required soil compaction and consolidation using gravel columns, the application of successive layers to regularize the surface and ensure optimal drainage. State-of-the-art finishes were installed, such as synthetic turf with properties comparable to natural grass in terms of shock absorption and energy dissipation, or the final finishing of the courts with regulatory finishes.
The project’s most notable feature is its roofing systems: the swimming pool area is covered with prefabricated laminated timber beams, while the main sports court uses a three-dimensional triangular steel structure that eliminates the need for intermediate supports, creating wide open spaces. Cabbsa also carried out the full adaptation of the surrounding areas, including the access plaza and external equipment, working in close coordination with the technical supervision team.
